MEN'S HOCKEY
About Us
Saintfield Hockey Club, which is part of Saintfield Sports Club, is a vibrant and growing Club based in Saintfield. The Men's section was formed in the 1920's and we are proud of our thriving Club, offering opportunities and a warm welcome to beginners and experienced players of all ages.
Our Men's 1st XI currently play in the Ulster Hockey Intermediate League, and the 2nd XI compete in the Junior 4 league.
Training Schedule & Information
The Men's section train on both Monday and Wednesday evenings, both sessions at our recently installed synthetic pitch at the Demesne next to the clubhouse.
Monday night training involves fitness and cardio workouts incorporating stick and ball work beginning at 20:15 at Saintfield Sports Club, Saintfield.
Wednesday night training involves a variety of hockey skills training, focusing on the core skills of the game, beginning at 20:15 at Saintfield Sports Club, Saintfield.
Membership/Fees
To become a member of the Men's Hockey Section, please complete the Membership PDF document below and send it to saintfieldmhcinfo@gmail.com. Membership fees vary based on student status and cricket club affiliation, costs are found below:
£120 for Senior Membership
£90 for Student Membership
Everyone is very welcome and encouraged to sign up to play, or just come along to training to see if you like it!
